A wig provides full scalp coverage and is most suitable for advanced or total hair loss. It is worn over the scalp and can be removed daily. Hair integration is designed for thinning rather than complete hair loss, as it blends your natural hair with additional density for a semi-permanent solution. VAT Exemption is available to all customers who wear wigs due to alopecia or who have lost hair due to medical reasons following treatment. If this applies to you, then you are entitled to receive the VAT off the cost of your wig at the time of purchase. Complete the VAT Exemption form and we will apply the discount at the checkout once it has been reviewed. Please note the VAT Exemption applies to wigs only and does not apply to any headwear or accessories.
To measure your head for a wig, you’ll need a soft tape measure. Please follow our step-by-step guide on Retail by Verve. Remember - keep the tape snug but not tight. If you’re unsure, we can take accurate measurements for you during your consultation to ensure the most secure and comfortable fit.

Yes, we can customise your wig for you. Please note, due to the specialist nature of colouring human hair wigs, all services are undertaken entirely at the client’s risk. Hair may respond unpredictably due to previous processing. We cannot guarantee exact colour replication, uniform pigment uptake, or longevity post-colouring. Once colour services have been carried out, refunds, exchanges, or reversals are not possible.

Wigs can be worn by anybody! If you do have hair loss, however, they are most suitable for individuals experiencing alopecia areata, totalis or universalis, chemotherapy-related hair loss, scarring alopecia, advanced female or male pattern hair loss, traction alopecia, medical or diffuse thinning. They can also be worn for convenience, styling versatility, or just personal preference.

Yes - but base construction matters. Lightweight, breathable caps such as monofilament or hand-tied designs are often recommended for sensitive scalps. Some wigs come with pre-build caps such as the I-Wig which enable the comfort level. Equally, the softness of frontal lace can vary from brand-to-brand, so we always recommend coming into the salon for a consultation first.

Typically every 8–12 wears, depending on product use and lifestyle. Overwashing can reduce lifespan. Human hair wigs can be styled, curled, and straightened just like natural hair. We strongly recommend using heat protection and a low-moderate to prolong lifespan. If you don’t feel comfortable washing your own wig, we offer a wig wash and blow dry service.
