Integrated Hair Systems
Specialists in hair integration since 2008
SEAMLESS INTEGRATION. EVERYDAY FREEDOM
We understand that no two experiences of hair loss are the same. That’s why every hair integration system we create is fully bespoke – tailored to your individual needs, lifestyle, and diagnosis. Each system is handcrafted using 100% Remy human hair and can be washed, styled, slept in, and exercised in with ease.
An integrated hair system is a cosmetic hair loss solution that blends your existing hair with 100% Remy human hair parting and extensions to create natural-looking fullness and coverage. You may have heard of hair integration referred to as lace integration, mesh integration, or meshless integration – the difference simply lies in the foundation used.
At Verve, we offer three different methods of hair integration – lace integration to create a secure foundation for those with more advanced hair loss, laceless integration which is suitable for mild to moderate hair loss, and integrated extensions to disguise patches of hair loss without the need for an added parting.
As every system is bespoke, pricing is discussed during your consultation.
Prices start from £805.
Your Consultation
Designing Your New Hair
It is essential that you seek out an experienced hair loss specialist when opting for any integrated hair systems because it is extremely important that these systems are built with well distributed anchorage points across the scalp to distribute the weight of the added hair.
We have been designing and fitting integrated hair systems since 2008, so we know whole heartedly that all our clients have very different requirements of what the perfect head of hair looks like to them. During the consultation process, we will discuss hair type, colour, length and density options to achieve your desired look.
It is entirely up to you whether you prefer to best replicate your own biological hair or play around with a whole new look, we have many options for you.
After years of building hair systems, we know people like options; we design our own Verve partings and have a range of brands in stock too. But why stop there? We also offer a bespoke custom-design.
Assessment
During the consultation process an assessment will be undertaken by our hair loss specialists experts to check suitability for lace integration. If you are suitable, we will then identify the area where hair integration is needed.
Patch Testing
Before a hair integration system is fitted, you must undergo a skin allergy test. You will be tested for sensitivity to the silicone-lined micro-rings, and daily tapes if you are have more advance hair loss or areas complete loss to ensure the system remains secure.
Pricing
You will receive a quote for the initial hair system, maintenance costs, along with information relating to changing the parting and wefts at a later date, so you are equipped with all the information you need to make the right decision for you. Prices start from £805.
Designing Your New Hair
For all hair systems, we will colour match your hair to get the most accurate match. If opting for a custom-designed piece, we will take a sample of your hair or a swatch from the colour ring and send your order to the manufactures to get the best match.
Why it is important to choose a Hair Loss Specialist
- Here at Verve, you can trust that we will always be honest whether we think you are a suitable candidate for any hair systems. Not all hair loss conditions are safe to be covered. Our salon is led by trichology education, so we understand the dangers of covering a scalp that requires treatment.
- Nevertheless, we understand from first-hand experience that hair loss is not "just a cosmetic problem" so we will always endeavour to provide alternative options that mean you can wear alternative hair that is removable so you can undergo treatment if needed.
- To the untrained eye, some hair loss conditions may present like a common genetic hair thinning condition but could be an inflammatory hair loss condition. In cases such as these, treatment to reduce the inflammation is our main priority so we would refer you to see a medical professional to treat the condition first.
Suitability
The main determining factors when assessing suitability for Lace & Laceless Integration are underlying conditions and severity of hair loss. Integrated hair systems could be suitable for the following:
- Female Pattern Hair Loss / Androgenetic Alopecia (widening of the parting in the female pattern)
- Trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder)
- Telogen Effluvium (hair shedding caused by medication, crash dieting, stress, illness, infection, vitamin & mineral imbalances, postpartum etc.)
- Anagen Effluvium (chemotherapy hair loss)
FOLLOWING REGROWTH POST-TREATMENT - Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia (receding frontal hairline)
ONLY ONCE STABILISED - Scarring (concealing patches or small sections of loss following burns or other trauma)

HAIR INTEGRATION FAQs
Yes, hair integration systems are designed to be washed, styled, and maintained just like you would your bio-hair. You can use heat tools, styling products, and even colour treatments in some cases. We’ll guide you on the best care routine to keep your system looking its best.
We’ve been creating bespoke hair integration systems since 2008, and in our experience, the longevity of each system depends largely on your lifestyle and how well it’s maintained. It’s important to view the system in two separate components as they have different lifespans: the parting and the main system. The parting is more delicate due to the knotting techniques used, which on average needs to be replaced every 6-8 months. With exceptional care, some clients have extended this to 12 months, while others may choose to replace it as often as every 3 month, although this is rare. The main integration system, however, can last between 1–2 years with proper maintenance. Regular upkeep and in-salon maintenance appointments will help preserve the condition of your system, keep it looking fresh, and ensure its longevity. Please see maintenance here.
Yes, our systems are designed for everyday life, meaning you can sleep, swim, and stay active without worry. We recommend usingprotective measures to maintain the longevity of the hair. If going swimming, we advise wearing you hair up to prevent it coming into contact with chlorine or salt water. However, if you are unable to this we recommend wetting your hair in the shower before you enter a swimming poor or ocean to stop your hair absorbing as much chlorine or salt water. When sleeping, we recommend a silk pillowcase to eliminate friction. During your appointment, we will go over aftercare with you and answer any questions you may have.
When tying your hair back, we recommend using silk scrunchies or claw clips to eliminate any traction on the mid-lengths and ends of the hair system, as hair elastics can lead to hair breakage and split end. When wearing your hair up it is important to not wear the system too tight as this could cause traction alopecia and tension on your bio-hair. We advise putting your hair up using a claw clip as this is much gentler on your bio-hair and hair system. It is important to always work with the parameters of the hair system so you are not allowing attachments and the base of the system to become visible. Please see our “How To” video here.
Hair integration is semi-permanent and is designed to be worn continuously, blending with your natural hair for a seamless look. Unlike traditional wigs, which are taken on and off daily, hair integration is securely fitted and integrated into your hair for a natural, everyday appearance.
Hair integration systems are secured with silicon-lined micro-rings, your own bio-hair and a lace base to create a secure fit. In more advanced cases where the frontal hairline has gone, we can create advanced hybrid systems using silicon-lined micro-rings as well as a small discreet tape fitted along the frontal line to ensure your hair system stays secure. During your consultation, we’ll discuss the best option for you.
Lace integration is ideal for those experiencing thinning hair, partial hair loss, or living with trichotillomania If you have active alopecia areata or complete hair loss (such as alopecia totalis or alopecia universalis), a full wig may be a more suitable option. We’ll assess your needs and recommend the best solution.
Booking a consultation is easy. Simply fill out the contact form on this page, call us directly, or email us to arrange an appointment. Our team will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

I had a lovely experience at Verve donating my hair. Sandra was so lovely, patient and did an amazing job with my haircut after too!! I would recommend anyone thinking of donating or even just getting their hair cut to come here. I’m not surprised this place already has a 5 star rating!Posted on Google![]()

Would highly recommend Verve Hair Salon to anyone suffering with hair loss. My hair was in a terrible condition from breakage from bleaching and hair thinning and it was really starting to get me down and I was at a loss what to do because everywhere I went just recommended things that weren’t suitable for my fragile hair type and so made it even worse. Until I came across the verve hair salon online 6 years ago and now my hair is in so much better condition. The whole team are so friendly and helpful to get you to look and feel your best. I always look forward to my visits to the Salon as I know I’ll come out loving my hair 😊 I wouldn’t go any where else now.Posted on Google![]()

I cannot recommend this salon enough. As a young woman suffering from hair loss the salon gave me back my confidence and I left feeling like a new woman. They are so kind, caring and understanding and can emphasise which is so important. They are not local to me but I would travel the distance to get the service I did - first class
