Verve Trichology Clinic is led by consultant trichologist Charlotte Knibbs RIT. Charlotte is a Registrant of the Institute of Trichologists and accredited by the Professional Standards Authority register.

Charlotte qualified with the Institute of Trichologists – the only organisation to offer a certified Level 5 diploma in clinical trichology. Trichologists, qualified through the Institute, study solely the science of hair and scalp health over several years, allowing for deep clinical specialism, focused training, and extensive patient exposure. In 2024, Charlotte received the Keith Hobbs FIT Award for Outstanding Achievement – for passion, perseverance, and commitment to learning

With over 17 years of lived experience with alopecia areata and lifelong epidermolysis bullosa,  Charlotte brings a uniquely empathetic, evidence-based approach to every consultation. She understands first-hand the emotional and psychological impact of hair loss and skin concerns. That’s why Charlotte is passionate about creating an open and supportive environment that empowers her patients to make informed choices about their care.

Alongside running her clinical practice, Charlotte is also proud to be part of the Institute of Trichologists education team, contributing to the training and development of future trichologists, and championing excellence in clinical ethics, patient care, and professional standards across the industry.
